ZOLL CodeNet^® allows for complete capturing of all code information, from the time for the first responder to arrive, to the end of the code, in real time. A handheld PDA with ZOLL CodeNet^® Writer software allows the user to document all events from the code, including drugs, airway management, defibrillation etc. CodeNet captures patient information as well as synchronising data from ZOLL defibrillators and ZOLL AutoPulse^® to give a complete picture of the code in a single timeline.

The Automated logging of mechanical events helps to prevent transcription errors and cost. The CodeNet software can provide prompts for time sensitive therapies such as adrenaline and atropine to improve standards of care, and allows for easy access to events during a code.

After a code the data from the PDA is compiled with the data from defibrillators and AutoPulse to provide a complete and accurate timeline of the code, with signoffs as required. Post code survival and treatment can also be recorded.
